You keep me warm through the winters chill
resting on my feet.
Comforting me when I'm feeling low
with a gentle purr so sweet.

When I need an ear to listen
you never let me down.
You tenderly nudge your head to mine
turning my sad face upside down.

So graceful in your movements;
tail swishing to and fro.
You never judge me or my ways...
your love is pure I know.

I can only try to repay,
all the love you've given me.
There can never be a better friend...
